Who We Are
Norwood’s Fiberglass was started in 1987 by Tim Norwood. At that time Tim was working for SeaRay boats, and doing their warranty work on the side at home. After 2 years of doing this, Tim decided to take a leap of faith and went full time working for himself. Over the years the business grew from strictly boat repair to also including RV’s and some industrial work in the East Tennessee area. Tim’s daughter, Alesha Norwood, joined the business at age 15 and worked side by side with Tim for the next 20 years. In 2022 Tim decided to step back and give Alesha the family business. Since doing so Norwood’s Fiberglass took the direction of moving away from the boat and RV’s and fully into the industrial and tank repair side of fiberglass. Norwood’s Fiberglass is still a small family owned business with a strong emphasis on doing great, quality work at a competitive price.
Meet Alesha Norwood
I was born and raised in East Tennessee. I grew up in a close-knit family that taught me the value of hard work and taking pride in what you do. I am what you would call a “daddy’s girl” and as a teenager I convinced him to let me work for him, against his better judgement he agreed and I never left. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and you can usually find us somewhere near water. I have been an avid boater since I was 18 and it is my dream to retire on a boat somewhere warm one day!
